This warranty is given by RACT AutoServe Pty Ltd (ABN 49 158 958 911), 136 Harrington Street, Hobart 7000. RACT AutoServe is contactable by phoning 1300 127 684.
The services performed and new parts supplied by RACT AutoServe are protected by a warranty for a period of twelve (12) months or 20,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date they are provided for private use vehicles or six (6) months or 10,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date they are provided for commercial use vehicles. You shall be responsible for any reasonably foreseeable expenses you incur in making a warranty claim.
The benefits given to you under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have in relation to the services and parts to which this warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. A replacement or a refund is offered by RACT AutoServe at its sole option.
Warranty claim procedure
To make a warranty claim, call RACT AutoServe on 1300 127 684 or write to RACT AutoServe, 136 Harrington Street, Hobart Tas 7000. Please note that a warranty claim will not be honoured unless proof of purchase (e.g. invoice) is provided.
You may need to take your vehicle to a service centre designated by RACT. If you are not an RACT member at the time the warranty claim is made, a service fee may be charged if roadside assistance is provided.
