The first element of our major investment in tourism on Tasmania’s east coast opens on 15 March 2018. The Coastal Pavilions at Freycinet Lodge are designed to immerse guests in an elegant yet grounded, natural experience.
The pavilions project has been led by well-known Tasmanian tourism developer Brett Torossi,
with beautiful design from Liminal Architecture and masterful consutruction from Cordwell Lane.

added a new premium option for visitors to the region.

Mr Lennon said the new Coastal Pavilions are just the first stage of our Freycinet Renewal
Project. Our focus now moves to stage two – the Hazards View rooms and the
addition of an accessible suite in the main Lodge building, as well as the
completion of the interior refurbishment of the Lodge.
Tasmanian tourism is going from strength to strength and the addition of the
waterfront pavilions at Freycinet Lodge will be another drawcard for the East
Coast region and Tasmania as a whole.

The RACT received grant funding of $1 million from the Australian and Tasmanian
Governments through the Tasmania Jobs and Investment Fund.
