Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.

2. Eligibility for inclusion in this competition is open to all persons who hold a financial RACT ROADSIDE ULTIMATE or RACT ROADSIDE ADVANTAGE membership as at 5.00pm, 16th March 2012 willautomatically go in the draw, with the following exceptions.

3. This competition is restricted to the State of Tasmania. All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter.

4. Competition commences 8am 1 December 2011 and closes at 5.00 pm 16th March 2012.

5. There will be one prize. The maximum total prize value is $10,000, based on the recommended retail value and the exchange rate at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.

6. The prize is:

1. Prize must be booked and travel taken before 1st March 2013.

2. The prize must be booked through RACT Travelworld

3. The prize includes $1,000 spending money and must be taken in conjunction with holiday prize.

4. The total Travel prize is valued at $9,000 based on the retail cost of travel at the time of booking.

5. The travel prize must be used in one entire booking and is not transferable to any other person.

6. The prize cannot be taken as cash

7. The prize may be used for domestic or international travel

7. The draw for the prize will take place at RACT, Cnr Murray & Patrick Sts, Hobart on Monday 19th March 2012 at 10.00am. The first entry drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the prize.

8. The prize winner will be notified by telephone and mail and published in the Public Notices section of the Mercury newspaper within one week, on ract.com.au and in the following edition of RACT Journeys magazine.

9.The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. The promoter and its related bodies corporate make no warranties and accept no liability in relation to the travel that forms the prize, including in relation to its condition or fitness for any purpose.  The promoter and its related bodies corporate are not liable for any injury, death, loss or damage arising out of the acceptance and use of the prize by the winner.
