The tables are a guide to the average cost of owning and operating private use cars. It provides costs for 79 vehicles this year, with models generally chosen from the top selling cars in each class, including electric vehicles.
In the tables you'll find:
- Average monthly and annual costs across vehicle categories.
- Estimated new-5 year ownership costs.
- Total running costs of each vehicle for five years.
- Comparisons for various sized vehicles available in Australia.
All costs used in the calculations were current at time of compilation and were put together in collaboration with other state motoring clubs.
