DO YOU KNOW DENNIS FROM DOVER?
A few weeks back, his granddaughter Elsie came to stay for the weekend. It looked like a nice day on the water, so he decided to take her out in the boat for a spot of fishing.
Dennis packed up the rods and bait, filled the esky up with sodas and snacks, and the pair headed out. After an hour or so, they hadn't hooked anything, and Elsie was starting to get a bit bored. Dennis decided this was the perfect time to get the lollies out.
To cheer Elsie up a bit, he started throwing the lollies up in the air and catching them in his mouth. But then one went down the wrong way and Dennis started to choke. With one almighty cough, he managed to dislodge the lolly, sending it flying over the side of the boat...along with his dentures.
Luckily, Dennis has our Personal Effects Insurance for his dentures. While we couldn't recover them from the bottom of the Tasman, after a quick chat with our local claims team (and his dentist!), we did manage to give Dennis his smile back.
