Young adults in the car driving

Young Drivers

Getting your licence is an exciting time. Let us help with safety tips, driving lessons and hints on buying your first car.

Ready for the Road

Our interactive, theoretical education session, is suitable for students in Grade 10, 11 or 12. It outlines the process of getting your licence and sparks discussion with students about safe driving tips, the fatal five, vehicle safety and other factors to consider when owning a vehicle, such as insurance.

Distracted Driving

Texting while driving is a growing trend among young drivers and is one of the leading causes in crashes and fatalities worldwide. This program provides students the opportunity to experience first-hand the risk of texting while driving in a safe and controlled environment supported by our professional driver trainers. Suitable for students in Grade 10, 11 or 12, students also simulate other driving distractions such as drunk driving and passengers. This program is delivered in two parts with our theoretical classroom discussion Ready for the Road.

We offer a range of different packages to suit your needs and budget.

Owning your first car

Owning your first car is a big decision, so it’s important to not rush. Remember, the first impression is not always everything.

Car safety

So, the car suits your need. It’s in your price range and has a great service history. The most important question you need to ask when buying a car is, how safe is it? It’s essential that the car offers you good protection in the event of a crash. ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) conducts independent crash tests and safety assessments. Most vehicles on Australian roads have been assessed and assigned a star rating (one star being the worst and five star being the safest). With some really easy research, you can choose a safe car over others, even if you’re looking at a used car. Get your ANCAP car rating.

The right car for you

When sitting in a car, set everything up as you would if you were about to take a long drive. Make sure you feel comfortable. Check it has the features you need. Will you need bigger boot space or do you need a smaller car that is easy to park?

Check the facts

The car's service history tells you if there has been anything mechanically wrong with the car in the past. We can give it a once-over as well, to check if everything is working. Knowing what repairs are necessary will help you negotiate with the seller for a better deal. Check out our Vehicle Inspections page for information and prices.
