the 2018 RACT Board Election online hub. From this webpage you can find out all
you need to know about the voting process, familiarise yourself with the
candidates or access the voting website to cast your vote. The deadline to cast
your vote is 12 noon on 7 November 2018.
All online votes are registered via a secure website operated by the Australian Election Company and how you voted will remain entirely confidential.
In order to vote online you will need your membership number along with a unique voting code that you have been assigned.
Your member number can be located on the front of your RACT membership card. For the purposes of the voting website please ignore any leading zeros that are included in the number. For example member number '0000001' should just enter '1'.
Unique voting codes have been provided on the reverse of the flysheet that accompanied the October/November edition of Journeys magazine or for members who do not receive the magazine via a separate letter or email.
Please note that if you are a new RACT member, you will not have been assigned a unique voting code immediately on joining, however you will receive your code as soon as it has been assigned. Until that time you can lodge your vote by requesting a postal ballot pack.
If you have misplaced or have not yet received your unique voting code and would like it emailed to you, please email email@example.com with your name and member number and we will send it to you.
Once you have accessed the voting website and entered your member number and unique voting code you will be able to cast your vote. If you make a mistake while casting your vote please click 'clear votes' below the candidates' names and start again. Once you are happy with your selection, click 'next' and then confirm your selection using the submit button. Once your vote has been submitted it cannot be varied so please check that you have selected your preferred candidates before clicking 'submit' – further details on the candidates can be accessed below.

ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE
Categories of membership permitted to vote:
• Service Members (Roadside Ultimate; Roadside Advantage)
• Honorary Life Members
• Paid Life Members
NOTE: IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MEMBERSHIP BY-LAWS, NO OTHER MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES HAVE VOTING RIGHTS.
RIGHT TO VOTE
Each member entitled to vote is allowed to submit only one ballot paper, or vote online, once in this ballot. If you vote online and by post, only the online vote will be counted.
Ballot opens on 5 October 2018. All ballot papers must be returned and received by 12 noon, 7 November 2018.
The four candidates with the highest number of votes cast are elected. The result will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on 14 November 2018.
