Whether you’re parked at home, in a caravan park or touring Australia, we've got you covered. Insure your caravan and trailer so you can explore with peace of mind.

  • Agreed value cover

    We'll pay the agreed value on your current policy schedule if your caravan or trailer is stolen or assessed as a total loss.

  • Accidental damage and theft

    Including insured events such as storm, flood and fire.

  • Emergency repairs

    If you accidentally damage your caravan or trailer, we'll pay up to $500 so that you can safely use or move it.

  • Legal liability

    We'll pay up to $20 million for accidental damage to another person's property.

  • Towing costs

    We'll pay the reasonable costs of getting your caravan to the nearest repairer if it's accidentally damaged.

  • Contents

    We'll pay up to $1,500 for personal items that are lost or damaged in an accident.

  • Optional $5,000 contents cover

    For an additional cost, increase your contents cover to $5,000.

Common questions

Our caravan and trailer insurance is not available for trailers or caravans permanently located outside of Tasmania.

#Existing eligible active RACT Insurance policyholders on 31 July 2026 automatically receive one draw entry. Purchase a new eligible RACT Insurance product between 10 April and 31 July 2026 for one additional entry per new product. Excludes Pet, Travel and Strata Insurance. T&Cs apply.
