Member Survey Draw Terms & Conditions

1.      The Promoter is The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (ABN 62 009 475 861) of 179 Murray Street, Hobart, TAS 7000 

2.      Information on how to enter and eligibility to be entered into the draw and prize details form part of the conditions. 

3.      The competition opens at 10:00am Tuesday 4 February 2025 and closes at 11:59pm Friday 21 February 2025 (“Promotion Period”) with a total of twelve (12) individual winners. 

4.      Entry is open to current RACT financial members who fill out the member survey during the Promotion Period. Such persons will automatically go into the draw, as per the conditions below. 

5.      Entry is restricted to current RACT financial members aged 18 years and over at the time of entry who reside in the State of Tasmania. 

6.      Employees of the promoter and those companies in which it has an equity interest and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter. 

7.      A maximum of one entry per RACT member will be counted. 

8.       Participants who fulfil the entry conditions will be automatically entered into the draw and by completing the entry conditions the Participant accepts these terms and conditions.   

9.      The prize pool consists of ten (10) $200 Everyday WISH eGift cards and two (2) $500 Everyday WISH eGift cards. 

10.  The prize winners will be randomly drawn on Tuesday 25 February 2025 at 12:00pm at RACT House, 179-191 Murray St, Hobart, TAS 7000. 

11.  The prize winner will be contacted by email or phone with details on collecting the prize. 

12.  The winner cannot nominate a third party to collect the prize on their behalf. 

13.  The prize winner’s name will be published on the RACT website. Eligible Participants consent to this publication as a condition of entry.  

14.  Should the prize winner decide to, at the promoter’s request, participate in promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, they agree to do so free of charge, and consent to the promoter using their name and images in promotional material (which may include publication within Journeys magazine and/or on the RACT website and social media pages) 

15.  In the event the prize for a draw is refused, not accepted or not claimed by 13 May 2025, the unclaimed prize will be redrawn from the entries for the draw which has the unclaimed prize. This draw will occur at the same time and location as detailed in Clause 10 on 14 May 2025. 

16.  The prize or any unused portion of the prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize or taken as cash.  

17.  Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.  

18.  The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the competition and/or its prizes except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.  

19.  The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to those decisions.
