Member Survey Draw Terms & Conditions
The Promoter is The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (ABN 62 009 475 861) of 179 Murray Street, Hobart, TAS 7000 (“RACT”).
Information on how to enter and eligibility to be entered into the draw and prize details form part of the conditions.
The competition opens at 10:00am on 14 November 2023 and closes at 11:59pm 26 November 2023 (“Promotion Period”) with a total of 4 individual winners being drawn after the Promotional Period.
Eligibility for inclusion in this competition is open to RACT members who complete the Membership survey during the Promotion Period outlined above. All eligible people will automatically go into a draw (one entry per member), as per the conditions below, with the following exceptions:
This competition is restricted to members residing in the State of Tasmania. All employees of the promoter and those companies in which it has an equity interest or that trade using the RACT brand, and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter.
The prize pool consists of four $500 Woolworths gift cards* (Total value $2000).
The competition winner will be drawn on or before 8 December 2023, selected at random from eligible survey submissions.
The prize winner will be notified by phone or email.
Details as to the collection of the prize will be provided at the time the prize winner is notified.
Should the prize winner decide to accept the prize they must, at the promoter’s request, consent to the promoter using their first name and local city or region in promotional material (which may include publication within Journeys magazine and/or on the RACT website and social media pages)
In the event of the prize being refused, not accepted or not claimed by 10 February 2024, the draw will be declared null and void and a further draw will be arranged.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the competition and/or its prizes except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The prize or any unused portion of the prize cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.
The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to those decisions.
