Youth Road Safety
Our young people are more than a statistic. We're committed to creating a safer future for our young Tasmanians.
In the past six years, 44 young Tasmanians have lost their lives, and over 350 have suffered life-altering injuries on our roads.*
This means nearly 400 families and their communities have been affected by tragedy.
As Tasmania's most trusted brand^, with expertise in road safety, road training and transport issues, we believe that we have a public interest obligation to make Tasmania's roads safer, especially for young people.
Find out more about what we are doing to support road safety awareness and outcomes for young Tasmanians through our More than a Statistic campaign - focused on creating awareness and encouraging conversations about this important issue and our Youth Road Safety Project - a five year project working with partners to develop a holistic approach for young Tasmanians between years 9 and 12.
