  1. Service Overview: The EV Battery Health Check Test ("the Service") is provided by RACT AutoServe Pty Ltd (ABN: 49 158 958 911) to assess the condition of your electric vehicle's (EV) battery. The Service is available at all RACT AutoServe locations in Tasmania. 

  2. Booking and Confirmation: Bookings must be made via the RACT website and are subject to a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Once a booking is received, RACT AutoServe will confirm the appointment via SMS or outbound phone call. Appointments are available on weekdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm, excluding public holidays. 

  3. Service Eligibility and Vehicle Compatibility: The Service is only available for EV makes and models that are compatible with our testing equipment. RACT AutoServe will assess compatibility based on the information you provide at the time of booking. If your vehicle is deemed incompatible, RACT AutoServe will notify you prior to the appointment and you will not be charged. 

  4. Payment is to be made on completion of the test using accepted payment methods. 

  5. Cancellations and Rescheduling: Please call RACT AutoServe directly on 1300 127 684 if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  

  6. Results and Limitations: The battery health report provided reflects the condition of the EV battery at the time of testing. It does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of future performance, nor does it replace professional diagnostics by a manufacturer-authorised service centre. 

  7. Liability: RACT AutoServe accepts no liability for any damage or consequential loss arising from the results of the battery test or from any issues pre-existing with the vehicle. The Service does not involve any mechanical or intrusive inspection of the battery system. 

  8. Data Usage and Privacy: By booking the Service, you consent to RACT AutoServe collecting and using your personal and vehicle data in accordance with RACT’s Privacy Policy.  A copy of the Privacy Policy can be found here.

  9. Changes to Terms: RACT AutoServe reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting to the RACT website.
