We've enhanced our Comprehensive Car Insurance with valuable new benefits designed to give you greater confidence on the road, and more support when the unexpected happens.

From included hire car cover when you're not at fault, to cover for EV charging equipment, higher benefits for child seats and personal belongings, these enhancements are designed to help protect the things that matter most.

A preview of what's new with our Comprehensive Car Insurance

The below benefits are available with Comprehensive policies only. Terms, conditions, limits and exclusions apply. For full details, see the PDS.

  • Not-at-fault hire car included

    Up to 14 days hire car cover included when you're involved in an accident with another vehicle, the other driver is 100% at fault, and you can provide their details.

  • Baby capsules + child seats

    If your baby capsule or child seat needs replacing after an insured event, we’ll cover up to $1,000 per item.

  • Optional hire car extended

    Our optional hire car cover (additional cost) now provides up to 30 days car hire after an accepted claim if your car is stolen, undriveable or being repaired.

  • EV charging equipment

    We cover the replacement of your car's portable electric charging equipment, cables and connectors you own if they are lost, stolen or damaged up to $1,000 per period of insurance.

  • Personal belongings cover

    If your personal belongings are damaged or stolen in an insured event, we'll now cover up to $1,000 per claim.

  • Keys, remotes and locks

    We cover up to $1,000 per period of insurance to replace your car keys or remotes if they're lost or stolen, and to replace your car locks if they're maliciously damaged. No excess applies.
