The Promoter is The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (ABN 62 009 475 861) of 179 Murray Street, Hobart, TAS 7000 (“RACT”).

Information on how to enter and eligibility to be entered into the draw and prize details form part of the conditions.

The competition opens at 12:01am Wednesday 10 December 2025, and closes at 11:59pm Friday 27 February 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

Eligible Participants will be entitled to one draw entry for each new boat or caravan insurance contract entered, or new boat or caravan insurance product added to an existing policy during the Promotion Period. The policy must be current at the time the competition is drawn.

Multiple entries will be accepted.

Eligible Participants are those natural persons who enter a new contract of boat or caravan insurance in their own name with RACT Insurance, including adding a new boat or caravan product to an existing policy. By purchasing an eligible insurance product from RACT the Eligible Participant accepts these terms and conditions.

This competition is restricted to members and customers residing in the State of Tasmania.

Employees of the promoter and those companies in which it has an equity interest or that trade using the RACT brand, and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter.

Home insurance, Contents insurance, Investor insurance, Portable items insurance, Strata insurance, Trailer insurance, Comprehensive car insurance, Third party car insurance, Collector’s car insurance, Investor insurance, Pet insurance, RACT Travel Insurance and Strata Building Insurance policies are not included.

The prize consists of 4 x $500 physical AmpolCash gift cards, totalling $2,000. The AmpolCash gift card is issued by Ampol A.B.N. 17 000 032 128, and each of its subsidiaries, related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) or associated companies as the context requires. When the AmpolCash gift card is being used at a Bennett's site, extra terms and conditions will apply in addition to what's outlined on the Ampol website. It cannot be used on tattslotto, donations, alcohol products, Neosurf or other gambling products, Telecommunications (including dial time), Epay or car wash services.

There will be one prize winner, selected through a random computer-generated draw.

The prize draw will occur on 4 March 2026 at 1:00pm, at RACT House in Hobart.

The prize winner will be notified by phone or email.

Details as to the collection of the prize will be provided at the time the prize winner is notified.

The prize winners name will be published on the RACT website.  Eligible Participants consent to this publication as a condition of entry.

Should the prize winner decide to, at the promoter’s request, participate in promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, they agree to do so free of charge, and consent to the promoter using their names and images in promotional material (which may include publication within Journeys magazine and/or on the RACT website and social media pages).

In the event any of the prizes for a draw are refused, not accepted or not claimed by 30 April 2026, the unclaimed prize will be redrawn from the entries for the draw which has the unclaimed prize. This draw will occur at the same time and location as detailed in Clause 13 on 3 November 2025.

The prizes or any unused portion of the prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash. Once claimed, the gift cards provided as the prizes for this competition will remain valid until February 2029.

Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the competition and/or its prizes except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to those decisions.
