Lifestyle Membership Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 5 June 2026

By joining the RACT Lifestyle Membership, you are bound by these Terms and Conditions. These are subject to change without notice and so we recommend that you read these terms in full prior to applying for, and prior to any renewal of, a Lifestyle product. For new products, the terms and conditions in effect at the commencement of your product will apply to that product until its next renewal. For product renewals, the terms and conditions in effect at the date of your renewal notice will apply to that renewal period. We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you of any changes to the Terms and Conditions by placing a notice on our website.

Eligibility

RACT Lifestyle is available only to individuals who are:

  • Over the age of 16;

  • Australian residents; and

  • Do not hold another membership eligible product.

Only one membership may be granted per individual. RACT may request evidence to verify eligibility. RACT Lifestyle is for personal use only. It cannot be used for commercial purposes or to generate a profit. Each Applicant must provide correct personal details, including but not limited to, name, date of birth, address, phone number and email address.

What you get

RACT Lifestyle Members that meet the relevant eligibility criteria become members of RACT. RACT Lifestyle provides access to Member Rewards that are subject to change from time to time.

Roadside Assistance and Insurance products are not included as part of RACT Lifestyle and must be purchased separately.

Limitations

The discounts and/or special offers that may be available to members under the Member Rewards program are subject to their own eligibility criteria, exclusions, terms & conditions and redemption methods. These offers may be provided by a Partner or RACT.

Except for any rights that you are entitled to by law, RACT accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) that arises from the provision or failure to provide any Partner products or services purchased or associated with an RACT Lifestyle discount or special offer.

Marketing consent

By taking out the RACT Lifestyle product, you consent to receiving marketing communication including RACT's eNews, digital Journey’s newsletter and other product and service offers from time to time. You can change these preferences online at any time.

Other Important Information

Misuse RACT reserves the right to terminate any RACT Lifestyle product where intentional misuse has been identified.

RACT may cancel your product where we consider (acting reasonably) that it is necessary or appropriate to do so to protect the health and safety of our staff or contractors or to comply with our workplace health and safety obligations to them.

Liability To the extent permitted by law, RACT's maximum liability is limited to the refund of the RACT Lifestyle fee paid by the member. Insurance coverage cost and risk are entirely your responsibility in all circumstances.

Discount changes and withdrawals to the extent permitted by law, RACT or its Partner may amend, limit or withdraw any applicable discounts or special offers.

Refund entitlements Except as otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions, and to the extent permitted by law, any RACT Lifestyle or other fees paid to RACT are not refundable.

Privacy

Personal information collected through this promotion will be handled in accordance with RACT's Privacy Policy and Privacy Collection Notice. By signing up, members consent to RACT collecting, using, and disclosing their personal information for the purpose of delivering membership benefits and sending marketing communications, in accordance with RACT's Privacy Policy.

Definitions

The following definitions are used throughout these Terms and Conditions:

Member Rewards: The discounted products, services or special offers that may be available to RACT members.

Partner: A third-party entity which provides Member Rewards to RACT members.

Roadside Assistance: The suite of products offered by RACT which provide various levels of service entitlements.
