Alex Costabile

Alex brings deep expertise in strategy, customer experience and governance. Most recently, he served as Chief Customer Officer at Wawa Inc., a US-based AU$30bn retail business, where he led digital transformation, advertising, and the expansion of member services. Previously, he was a Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group, advising international companies on transformation, growth and strategy.

He has held governance roles in purpose-driven organisations, including Director and Chair of the Finance Committee at Main Line Health, a AU$3bn health system, and as a Board member at The Welcoming Center, a nonprofit supporting immigrant integration.

Alex holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering.

Now settled in Hobart with his Tasmanian-born wife and their three children, Alex is excited to serve the Tasmanian community.
