Dede has been one of our driving instructors for over five years now.
He reckons the best part of the job is helping learners to be safe and independent drivers by nurturing good habits and coaching them how to make safe decisions on the road.
Dede is a self-confessed music nerd. He collects vinyl records and plays guitar. Dede also loves cooking and discovering new recipes. He’s also a gamer.
If you learn to drive with Dede you can expect a patient, calm, nurturing and positive teaching style that gives you great foundations.

Harry C
Harry spent 40 years as a head chef and businessman running a food establishment, but he’s also always been a car nut.
He’s coached young drivers in low risk driving and enjoys volunteering in community groups such as Neighbourhood Watch.
Harry’s teaching style is based on encouragement: he wants his students to maximise their potential, overcome nerves and build the skills needed to become a safe, legal and competent driver on our roads at you’re their own pace.

Kendan is a big fan of technology and social media. He loves to get creative and enjoys art and music.
Kendan chose to become a instructor to share his love of driving and the road. He had a great experience learning to drive and wanted to pass that on to future learners.
He's passionate about teaching students to be independent and how to keep everyone safe whilst driving.

Kitty H
A fan of nature and fresh air, Kitty enjoys spending her spare time outdoors, on holidays, catching up with friends or sewing.
Kitty became a driving instructor because she loves to see people willing to learn and make progress.
She believes the most important thing you can do while learning to drive is to be observant, plan ahead and relax.

Luisa R
Luisa is a professional artist, with a focus on painting and printmaking. She has exhibited nationally and internationally!
She also has a very healthy obsession with her ’98 Celica.
Luisa has been an instructor with RACT since mid-2025 and is passionate about increasing the level of knowledge and skill in the driving population in Tasmania.

Matt A
In his free time Matt trains and competes in Strongman competitons and likes to enjoy the proximity of nature.
Matt was drawn to being an instructor to help improve the quality of motorists on the road and to help teach people how to stay safe.
Having previously worked in a role with a lot of driving, he has invaluable experience to share.
